Susan Rowe is known as an industry thought leader in the fusion of brand media and direct response media. She coined the term “fusion” to describe her award-winning approach to media planning.

She conceived of fusion while she was head of Carat’s Chicago office. The product was so promising that Carat used the name for its new interactive agency.
